The Gospel Changes Everything!
This is the central message of Grace & Peace Church.
The word "gospel" simply means "good news." The gospel is the news that Jesus Christ came into the world and lived the life we should have lived but did not and died the death we should have died but do not have to die. He did this so we may be restored in relationship to God, to one another, to ourselves, and to our world - no matter who we are, where we have been, what we have done, or what has been done to us.
This message is comprehensive - it changes everything and demands everything.
- It means we really can follow Jesus and embody his love and power for our world.
- It means we really can experience increasing freedon from shame, guilt and the slavery of sin.
- And finally, it means we really are participating with God in a new story he is writing in our world.
